Wedding Events
Hotel Laurance has many attributes to create the event to be remembered. With two charming event rooms, located on the main floor across the hall from each other, and 12 suites for guests accommodations. The spaces are specifically designed for intimate weddings, luncheons, meetings, showers, breakfasts or cocktail parties.
The large Parlour Room can accommodate up to 30 guests seated with chairs and tables and can easily create a very special ceremony. Then possibly a cocktail party after in the Keeping Room. If desired, while having the drinks, a dinner could be set up in the Parlour Room for a sit-down meal, elegantly catered.
Then the 12 large suites could be for all the guests to extend their experience, possibly for more than one day, enjoying the things and events around town, including restaurants, breweries, winery or the many outdoor activities. There have been many different wedding styles through our doors over the years that were beautiful, amazing, very unique and tailored to different styles. Along the Shenandoah River there are options for events, outside dining and water activities. The National Forest, in our backyard, is so beautiful for a ceremony and possibly a rehearsal dinner at the Hotel. Then just to mention one more layer, the wineries can do special events folded into the itinerary as well.
There could even be wedding party activities. All the while no one needs to worry about logistics while at the hotel. Everyone is tucked in and visiting each other like a beautiful large home the entire time.
The possibilities are completely endless, to create a comforting, intimate memorable wedding to be shared with your treasured guests. The very best of all is that at this size of wedding, it becomes more about the bridal couple enjoying themselves mostly, not overwhelmed, but relaxed and more memorable for sure.
We often partner with Main Street Bakery to cater the perfect custom menu for your event. They are not only the best in the area, but by far the most experienced at making a very special occasion even more so!
